Rick Jones

Rick grew up in a musical family. His brother Oddie played the fiddle and had a bluegrass band in the 60's and 70's called The Foggy Hollow Boys. Father Miles played the banjo and fiddle, brother Donald played the guitar, banjo, dobro and steel guitar and his oldest brother Miles Jr. plays the mandolin. Rick has been a member of the Foggy Hollow Boys, Slate Ridge, The Susquehanna Bluegrass Band, Summit Hill and now Foggy Hollow. Influences include his father and his late brother Oddie. Rick works as a safety/facilities manager for a communications company.

Doug Kriess

A lifelong fan of bluegrass music, Doug also revived his playing career in 2009 and currently plays a custom built Logan mandolin.

Hobbies include fishing and hunting, his lovely wife Carin and two daughters Lilly and Emma. Doug works as a housing inspector for an independent firm.

Jim Thomas

Original member of Oddie Jones and the Foggy Hollow Boys in the late 60’s and early 70’s. Also played with Charlie Moore and recorded with Al Jones and Frank Necessary in the 70’s. Jim also played with the Harold Tipton Band for many years and has been with Foggy Hollow since it formed in 2010. Jim retired from Baltimore County in 2015 and is living the good life!!

Mike Hartnett

Mike has been playing the fiddle since he was 12 years old. Influences include his father Mike Sr., Howdy Forrester and Kenny Baker. Mike has been performing with local bands for 40 years and is a welcome addition to the Foggy Hollow Band. Mike and his wife Gianine live in Dundalk, Md.
